The Day Care Centre, MIT campus caters to the needs of about 25+ children with Ms.T.Catherine Bina, as the Coordinator, and a teal of three office assistants.
The Centre organises many activities for the children periodically. Various workshops, arts and crafts classes and summer camps are conducted for these children. the Centre have adequate play facilities.
The following facilities have been made available to the students of MIT
Health Center: Provides emergency medical assistance to the members of the campus 24x7.
Co-operative Stores: Stores for buying stationery.
Sports: A separate sports complex that provides state of the art facility for Sports activities.
MIT hostels: Provide rooms, and food for resident scholars.
Day Care: For taking care of children of staff members and research scholars of MIT

MIT Student's Cooperative Stores

MIT Student's Co-operative Store Ltd. was established in the year 1950 and it is registered under Tamilnadu Co-operative Department (Regd. No. G.1520). It is located at Ground Floor of the Administration building, MIT Campus. The working hours will be from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm on all working days (Monday to Saturday).
. All the students of the MIT Campus both Full Time and Part Time have access to the MIT Students' Co-operative store. When the students are admitted, they will pay Rs.2000/- as Co-operative store fees. Out of which Rs.200/- will be for Membership Fee and the remaining amount of Rs.1,800/- will be adjusted towards the purchase of items from the co-operative store as credit sales. Separate cash sales will also be done in the stores. The stores purchase all the stationery items at wholesale price and sell the same to the students at low profit cost. All the stationery items like pen, pencil, notebooks, calculator, pen drive etc. will be available in the Co-operative stores.
All the departments at MIT Campus will purchase the stationery and other related items from the Co-operative stores.
The MIT Students Cooperative Stores is functioning with Dr.K.Elangovan, Assistant Professor as Secretary and Dr.G.B.Baskar, Associate Professor as Treasurer who will take care of the purchase and other related activities of the stores. Two sales clerk were appointed to look after the sales and accounts procedures.
