Contribution to Department/Institute: (i) Handling two theory subjects and one practical subject every semester for UG / PG programmes in the department of Instrumentation Engineering, MIT Campus, Anna University. (ii) As a co-investigator of the DST project (Rs 31.66 Lakhs) entitled “Design and Development of Automated External Defibrillator” sanctioned in December 2015, I am involved in assisting PI in the software development, equipment purchase and manpower recruitment. (iii) As a co-investigator in the UPE–Automated Antobiogram device project (worth Rs. 4.5 crores) sanctioned in June2016, I am involved in the design of microcontroller based automation circuit. (iv) As the project officer of the National Hub for Healthcare Instrumentation Development (NHHID), I assisted the coordinators in several activities of the Hub. (v) As a Co-investigator of the NHHID project “Establishment of a Centre for Calibration and Testing of Critical Care Medical Devices”, I assisted the coordinator of the project in developing the state-of-the-art calibration facility and preparing it for NABL accreditation. (vi) As a mentor for the Wipro-recruits of Anna University, I am helping Wipro trainers in organizing the training programme being conducted in CEG campus regularly every week.
